Control of Active Power Filters by Using dSPACE 1103 Control Board
Škramlík, Jiří ; Valouch, Viktor
The paper presents some results obtained with the dSPACE 1103-based control system of a parallel Active Filter (AF) compensating current harmonics of a non-linear load. The main aim of the study was to evaluate the possibilities of the system dSPACE 1103 to control fast dynamics of the AF.
Influence of Third Space Harmonic Wave of Magnetic Density on Currents and Torque of Induction Motor
Schreier, Luděk ; Chomát, Miroslav
Influence of the third space harmonics of stator current layer and field density on properties of induction motors is discussed in the paper. The rise of these waves in connection with zero-sequence component in stator currents is shown. It is proved that the flux corresponding to the third wave of the field density passes through the air gap and can give rise to rotor currents in dependence of rotor winding configuration.
Analysis of Rotor and Stator Currents in Doubly Fed Machine Supplied from Cycloconverter
Bendl, Jiří ; Chomát, Miroslav ; Schreier, Luděk
A numerical model of an adjustable-speed power unit utilizing a doubly fed machine (DFM) with a 12-pulse cycloconverter in the rotor circuit was developed. The rotor and stator currents of this machine for different operating states were analysed.
Computation of 3D Electrostatic Fields Excited by Thin Conductors
Karban, P. ; Škopek, M. ; Doležel, Ivo
Solution of 3D electric fields in a system of thin charged conductors of general shapes by classical differential methods (FDM, FEM etc.) is extremely difficult due to ignorance of boundary conditions and existence of geomertically incommensurable subdomainswithin the investigated area. Application of integral methods is also complicated because the kernel functions occuring in the first-kind Fredholm equations are intergrable only in 2D and not in 1D.
Numerical Analysis of Induction Heating-Based Assembly and Disassembly of Shrink Fits
Shulzhenko, M. ; Gontarowskiy, P. ; Matyukhin, Y. ; Pantelyat, M. ; Doležel, Ivo ; Ulrych, B.
The paper deals with mathematical modelling of assembly and disassembly of structural parts that are coupled with interference fit by means of induction heating. The process is formulated as a quasi-coupled electromagnetic-thermoelastic problem in 2D arrangement. Its solution is based on time stepping with built-in internal iterative processes for improvement of accuracy of parameters of linearised equations describing all three involved fields that are in each time step solved by the finite element techniques.
Integral Solution of Electrostatic Fields in 3D Arrangements
Hamar, R. ; Doležel, Ivo ; Ulrych, B.
The paper deals with computation of 3D electrostatic fields (distribution of charges, electric potential and other derived quantities) by means of integral equations and their numerical solution. Selected are neither configurations that can be simplified to 2D problems and solved analytically, nor arrangements that might be processed by the FD or FE techniques. Analysed are fundamental mathematical aspects of the method, which is illustrated on a 3D field between two cubes in general position.
Polařský a obvodový model dávkovače zinku
Musil, Ladislav ; Praglowska-Gorczynska, Z.
